On demand programmes ‘scheduled’ but not downloading.
Anyone had this with there Sky + HD?? Four programmes I’ve tried to download. All on On Demand and all 4 are showing as scheduled. Nothing is currently downloading.

Have deleted everything in the deleted folder and have taken the plug out the wall for a couple minutes. Nothings worked. And yes I’ve wiped my dick on the screen.

How is your Sky Box connected to Router? Ethernet cable or WiFi ?

Re: On demand programmes ‘scheduled’ but not downloading.
I had this when I wanted to download a series a few months ago. I deleted what I tried to download unplugged the WIFI box and plugged back in then downloaded one at a time and that worked. I found certain programmes would do this On Demand and others were fine.

Goto Network settings, delete the Wifi settings and then reconnect

I had the a couple of years ago.

I think mallards plan worked.

However you DO have to wipe your knob across the screen first (blast from the past)

Turn off the TV and give your partner a good seeing to.

If you then still feel the need to turn on the TV, it simply wasn't good enough - FACT-O-FUCKING-FACTO. Do it again.

Mallard - been to services then network. Pressed red button to ‘reset’. Connected back to internet via password.....and still hasn’t worked. Tried to download something else and still just saying “scheduled”.

Pagey....series 4 of Two Doors Down!!

What package do you have?
Is the content you’re trying to download in your subscription?
Can you download from BBCi player?

Are you trying to download in HD, but don’t have HD subscription?

Re: On demand programmes ‘scheduled’ but not downloading.
Mallard, I have the full shebang. Sky plus HD. I’ve downloaded and watched the first three series of ‘Two Doors Down’...it’s just not allowing me to carry on watching. Same with anything else on On Demand. They just line up, all saying “scheduled” but nothing actually downloading. First time it’s happened so something’s fucked

Re: On demand programmes ‘scheduled’ but not downloading.
Are you trying to download an entire series? If you are, the box only downloads 2 episodes to start with. Once you start watching episode 1, episode 3 will start downloading. Then when you start watching episode 2, ep4 will download and so on.

Danny,

Go into the engineer settings for the + box
Press the ‘Sky’ button
Press ‘Services’ button on the remote
Press ‘001’ and then ‘Select’
Then option 7 or 8 (whichever one doesn't wipe the box)

Also do a hard reboot of your router (basically unplug it then plug it back in).

Then give it a go.

Mallard, to answer your other question no. I can’t download from bbc iPlayer either. It’s all happened in the last day or so. Downloaded all of the latest Luther about 4/5 days back

Re: On demand programmes ‘scheduled’ but not downloading.
Moose: done the 001 thing. But lost with your option 7 or 8 comment? There are no numbered options......there is a ‘system reset’ or a ‘set up’ and several other choices?

Obviously don’t want to wipe my planner if possible!!

mallard 8:35 Tue Jan 29
Re: On demand programmes ‘scheduled’ but not downloading.
The two options he is referring to is..

System restore - which defrags the Hard Drive

Full system reset - Wipes everything.

If you can sacrifice your recordings, try a Full system reset, however I think there is an issue with your Network card.

Another way to test it is to try ‘New installation’ which is in the hidden menu.

Is there anyway you can run an Ethernet cable between Sky box and Router?

Re: On demand programmes ‘scheduled’ but not downloading.
Really don’t want to wipe the planner. There’s stuff on there that’s no longer gettable. Sadly, there’s too much distance between router and sky box to run an ethernet cable...just totally baffled as everything has always downloaded fine. Will try wiping my knob on it again.
